All mail is then securely shredded - No mail is forwarded by post.
There are some restrictions - please check the terms and conditions so you are aware.
After 6 months scans will automatically be deleted from your account.
If you cancel the service, any mail held in your dashboard will be deleted due to data protection.
Post Forwarding
All mail forwarded by post to your chosen forwarding address
We ask you to provide us with Proof of Address for your mail forwarding address - usually this is your home address.
We are really flexible with how your mail can be posted - you get to choose if you want it daily, weekly or monthly.
You can also choose to have it sent by 1st or 2nd class.
We request an initial £20 deposit that will enable us to forward your post - we charge the deposit account the cost of Royal Mail stamp.
If you decide to change your mind during your time with us, you can notify us via the online dashboard.
The £20 deposit usually lasts a year but if you have frequent mail and larger heavier items this deposit may be depleted quicker and you will be notified to top up your deposit account. This is easily done in your online dashboard.
If we receive returned mail from the mail forwarding address on file, we will hold all mail until a new forwarding address and ID is provided.
If you cancel the virtual office business address service, any mail received after your renewal date will be returned to sender.
Post+
Our Post Plus service combines the post scanning and post forwarding service.
You will receive a copy of the mail via upload or directly into your email inbox.
You can at that point ask us to shred the item if you are happy just to receive an electronic copy.
If you want it forwarded you can have it sent as frequently and by whatever mail class you choose.
The cost of scanning your mail is included in the monthly or annual price, however we will ask for an initial £20 mailing deposit upon sign up.
The deposit may be to be topped up via the online dashboard if it the total gets below £5.
After 6 months scans will automatically be deleted from your account.
Upon cancelling the virtual office any scans and mail held in the online account or at our offices will be deleted or returned to sender.

How does the business address work?
By applying for the business address package, you can use the address for all your day to day business dealings. It is a virtual office address for you to use with your customers, clients and suppliers.
You can use the address on your website and invoices, so that all your business mail comes into the one address.
You can choose to have your business mail scanned or posted - you can choose how it is sent and how often it is sent.
We have a FREE scan only option, the price of scanning your mail is included in your monthly or annual package. We are unable to forward any mail by post and after scanning all your mail is securely shredded to protect your data.
For those clients that want their mail to be forwarded by post, we also request a £20 postage deposit that we use to forward your general business mail, official company mail from companies house and HMRC etc.
If you require your mail in a hurry but also want to hard copy forwarded by post we would recommend the Post+ service, mail can be scanned and will be posted as requested - weekly, monthly, 1st class etc or if you dont want a particular document you can highligh SHRED in the online dashboard and we will dispose of it securely.
We only charge you the Royal Mail stamp costs, however parcels/packages larger than a Royal Mail standard large letter incur a £2 handling fee. If any parcel requires us to arrange a courier this will incur a further fee.. Handling and packaging fees do apply if we have to consolidate packages into one package.
If you expect packages and signed for items please choose the Sussex based address. The London office can only accept letters.

For Companies House & HMRC Mail
This is the formal and official address of the company but it does not have to be the place where the business trades.
Official Government Agencies such as Companies House and HMRC will always write to a companies official address. The address must be genuine and able to accept mail on behalf of the company.
When an address is found to be ineffective Companies House may take action against the company. If a letter is sent to the registered address it should be accepted. Returned mail may cause Companies House to assume the address is ineffective.
Companies House and HMRC will send notices and reminders which are posted to companies to remind them of their statutory duties. This includes notices to file accounts, annual returns, and to submit tax returns. It is also the address at which legal notices are officially served.

We provide a flexible mail forwarding solution, from a basic registered office address to a complete business mailing solution. This enables companies to use our address for official government organisations and departments, like HMRC and Companies House, and also with banks, customers and suppliers.
Our flexible virtual office service also allows you to have your mail scanned or posted. The frequency of how often this occurs is totally in your control. We provide free forwarding of any official mail with our registered office address service. For London clients it is scanned and emailed and for our Sussex Clients, normally it is posted but if you would prefer it to be scanned, we can amend your account and we will also ensure that all your confidential information is shredded afterwards. You can also purchase a Directors Service Address with the registered office. All the Directors can use the address on the Companies House register. Our mail forwarding/virtual address services allows you to choose to have your mail sent daily, weekly or monthly. This will depend on the urgency of your mail and you can easily notify us if you wish to change how often your mail is forwarded.

When you sign up for the Business Address you will be initially asked how often you want your mail forwarded (daily, weekly, monthly) and whether you want it sent 1st or 2nd class. You can change this at any time, just contact us via email or phone to make the amendments. For example, if you are going away and want us to hold your mail for a few weeks, that is not a problem.
Once the verification comes back positive we will then arrange approval for you to use our services. This usually is within an hour during office hours. On weekends and after hours it can take a bit longer but usually same day.
We recommend you have all the ID scanned ready to upload before you start to complete the application form.
We require ID for all directors that own 25%+ of the company. ID is also required for anyone of significant control, who may not be actual directors of the company.
